GIVE HOCKEY A TRY -
INTRODUCTORY YOUTH HOCKEY CLINICS

Saturday, December 3rd - 10:30am to 12:00pm

Fox Valley ice arena offers this wonderful introductory clinic for children ages 5 to 12, giving them a chance to experience the basics of what hockey is and how fun an activity it can be. They will get exposed to the ice, learning what it feels like to have a pair of skates on thier feet and how it feels to stand on the ice and try to skate; get fitted for and try on hockey equipment; play small area games and recieve an on ice group photo to take home.

CLINIC INSTRUCTORS:

Brad Layzell ( "Coach Brad" ) - Former NCAA, professional and Canadian Olympic Player. Current Director of Hockey and GM of Fox Valley Ice Arena.

Gus Liatos ( "Coach Gus " ) - Voted top pre-hockey coach in the state. Coach Gus instills passion, skill and discipline in a highly entertaining and enjoyable atmosphere for players and parents alike.

Mike Andrews ( "Coach Mike " ) - Former strength and conditioning trainer for Chicago Black Hawks; Former head coach of Wheaton College. Currently Assistant Director of dry-land training.

CLINIC COST:   $10.00 per child for a single session.

CLINIC OVERVEIW:
10:30am - Check in
10:40am - Skating & Stick-handling fundamentals in Hockey Gym
11:00am - Get fitted for equipment and skates
11:15am - On ice instruction and small area games
11:50am - On ice group photo and cold drinks in the locker room

YOUTH HOCKEY PROGRAMS

Fox Valley ice arena offers playing opportunities for all levels and abilities (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Elite level programs) for both boys and girls, men and women of all ages 3 and up.

Beginner and Instructional Programs:

Pre and Tot-Hockey with "Coach Gus!":
This program is designed for children with little or no hockey or skating experience. It is a great way to allow your child to learn the basic fundamentals in a fun, pressure-free environment. Prehockey form

Adult learn to play classes:
Sunday nights Coach Gus Liatos offers learn to play classes for adults interested in learning new skills or simply learning the game. It’s a great group and a great work-out. Coach Gus can be reached at
